The hand-polished beech wood feels really smooth and substantial in my grip, and the medium-strength bristles don't scratch my wool coats at all. It's become part of my evening routine before hanging things up.

The bristles are stiff enough to lift lint and dust off my wool coat in a few quick passes, yet they don’t scratch the fabric. I also like that the wood is polished so well it feels warm in my hand, not like a cheap tool. Just wish it came with a little cleaning comb, but that’s me being picky.

The beech wood handle is so smooth and nicely balanced that brushing feels almost therapeutic after a long day. It handles my wool coats and cotton shirts beautifully, though I’m careful to keep it away from my cashmere sweaters as noted.
