I'd only used cheap synthetic brushes before, so the difference in the lather was night and day. The badger hairs are firm but flexible, lifting my stubble just enough for a close shave without any scratchiness, and the ivory handle feels properly substantial in my hand.

The imitation ivory handle feels heavier and more substantial in the hand than I expected for the price, and the badger bristles whip up a thick, slick lather in about twenty seconds. It’s gentle on my sensitive neck but still lifts the stubble enough that my razor glides over the same patch twice w
